Contending for Faith, Home, Community, Vocation

Dear Parents,
We would like to invite you to enroll your son in C4, Hope’s mid-week program for boys 5th through 8th grades. C4 stands for contenders for faith, home, community, and vocation. To contend means to assert or maintain. Our core qualities are expressed in three arenas: a vision for manhood, a code of conduct, and a strong willpower. Boys will be able to earn tools throughout this year. These will be kept with us.

A vision for manhood:

  1. Rejecting Passivity
  2. Leading Courageously
  3. Accepting Responsibility
  4. Expecting a Greater Reward

Code of Conduct:

  1. Loyalty
  2. Kindness
  3. Humility
  4. Purity
  5. Service
  6. Integrity
  7. Self-discipline
  8. Excellence
  9. Perseverance

A Strong Willpower:

  1. A will to obey.
  2. A will to work.
  3. A will to love.
