THE TRUTH PROJECT

truth project

God has spoken in every aspect of our life. He has spoken truth to us individually, and to our nation and world. He has revealed His wonderful light to guide us in all the ways we live. Often we are distracted from the glory of beholding Him, and instead fall into ruts of day-to-day life or even believing lies about ourselves, others, and worst of all, of our Father.

Look, our world is full of sin, and yet God has come and shown Himself to us. He has spoken to every single aspect of our lives. He has not abandoned us, but has given us His wisdom concerning money, jobs, politics, our interaction with Him, our history, science, and the very core of who we are. Why do we not look and grapple with these things more often?

Hope is going to spend this upcoming Fall Session wrestling with God's truth on Wednesday night. We're going to take a break from situation-specific groups, and all together—youth and adults—learn and discuss. Classes will start after dinner at 6:15 in the Adoration Chapel with a DVD series called The Truth Project (Want more information? Check out truthproject.org). This series has been designed to be not just a class, but an experience—something to spur questions and discussion. So after watching the DVD, we will split up into small groups and have discussion. Adults and youth, married and single, kids and no kids, all mixed together to share and talk and encourage.

We want to specifically encourage those parents of middle and high school youth to bring them into classes alongside them. As youth turning into adults, they can wrestle with the same questions, and walk alongside adults, including their parents, to find Christ's truth in their lives as well. Have your kids come in with you to small groups.
