About Us
A ministry of Hope Community Church, LivingStone Monastery opened in February 2004 and is the former home of the Sisters of Poor Clare - a cloistered community of Franciscan nuns who lived here for over 50 years. Now a monastery in the Evangelical Tradition, LivingStone is a religious community called to support the local church, to practice hospitality and to create an environment for spiritual formation. LivingStone is part of the campus of Mosaic, housing the common equipment, office space, and much of the meeting spaces shared by this multi-congregational partnership of churches of which Hope is a part, and is also home to the LivingStone community who live and serve to fulfill our calling. LivingStone regularly houses personal and group retreats from outside organizations or groups, and those who are a part of Hope Community Church receive a discounted rate extended to Mosaic churches.
