Front Porches | The Gathering Party
Making connections is a necessary step to developing a sense of belonging. On Sunday mornings you make worship connections with a whole crowd of people that attend Hope. On ministry teams you make service connections with vision, skills, spiritual gifts, and passions. While worship connections and service connections meet deep needs within, we still inherently crave relational connections.
Relational connections are more challenging to make. Many things have to be navigated... preferences, availability, interests, and personalities. Add to this the need for time - the need for repeated exposure to one another. While personal connections will require you to be intentional, we can help by providing opportunities. We want to get to know you. We want you to feel like you belong.

What exactly are "Front Porches"?
Front Porches are an opportunity for you to nurture relational connections. Front Porches are neighborhood gatherings or parties that happen in homes throughout the cities of Hampton Roads. With little structure and much relationship, Front Porches is centered around eating, relaxing, and talking. The only structure to these groups is dinner, friends, and stories.
