Public Prayer Chapel - Open Daily 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Article Pic

For many decades the Sisters of Poor Clare reserved the Prayer Chape at LivingStone Monastery for public prayer. Hope Community Church is committed to the prayer heritage left to us by the Sisters, so we, too, will continue to keep the Prayer Chapel open to the public. Read below about the LivingStone House of Prayer. Chapel hours are currently Monday-Saturday, 7 a.m. - 11 p.m.

Feel free to stop by any time to pray. Various types of prayer sets are offered daily and the daily schedule is posted by both entrances to the chapel. Short chapel services are held at 7 a.m., 12 noon, and 9 p.m. We would be glad to have you join.

LivingStone House of Prayer

Article Pic Once upon a time in a distant place, King David set up a tabernacle and appointed musicians and singers to minister before the Lord day and night. Throughout the history of the church in various places around the world, this type of ministry has continued. Now, in our time, God is raising up men and women who devote their lives to perpetual prayer and worship. His call has reached us and we are privileged to receive it and embrace it. From this calling LivingStone House of Prayer has been birthed. Officially opening January 1 2008 we have been faithfully keeping the fire of worship and prayer burning since then.

Livingstone House of Prayer has a public prayer room located on the front right of the Livingstone Monastery building. There we worship, soak, and intercede for the Hampton Roads area. We are currently open from 7am-11pm. A live music schedule can be found at Lhop.us.

Please join us in praying for God’s plans and purposes to be fulfilled through Livingstone Monastery House of Prayer.
