What is New Community?

During each school year, New Community is our Wednesday evening spiritual growth program for the whole family. Nursery is available for newborns through 3 years.

SPECIFIC INFO ON THE UPCOMING FALL SESSION

The Bible, life application of spiritual truths, accountability, discipleship, relationships, family involvement; these are all important parts of Hope's New Community gathering on Wednesday nights. The entire family gathers to study and train in classes that are designed around abilities and needs of different life stages. Kids are taught core biblical concepts and skills in an environment that embraces their abilities emotionally and intellectually. Youth gather to be challenged by adults and peers. Our adult classes sometimes meet together for one main study, sometimes mix up and groups form around topics, and sometimes adult classes are grouped into some general life situations:

• Young Adults without Kids
  
• Just Married (5 yrs. or less)
  
• Adults with Young Children (infant through elementary)
• Adults with Older Children (middle through high school)
• Caleb Company (empty nest)

Middle school boys and girls meet separately (typically... but for fall 2010's Truth Project they will be joining high school and all the adults) and Kid's Community is where it's happening for the kids.

Don't let the word "class" fool you...

We will use master teachers and approved curriculum. We will study the Bible, spiritual practices, doctrine and issues - all with the intent of applying it to life. But even though there is a class, there will be plenty of opportunity for relationships. You will spend up to 9 months; each week, opening the Bible together and letting the Word of God shape your life. You will watch it shape the lives of new-found friends as well.

Have you ever felt you didn't have a strong handle on what the Bible said or what it meant? Have you wondered how it would be applied in 21st-century life? New Community puts the Bible together with today's life and real relationships. There is something for every member of your family. Come join us on Wednesdays for dinner and then a time of study.

All classes begin at 6:15 p.m. and end at 7:45 p.m.
New Community classes meet at the Mosaic Campus.

Come eat dinner with us!
All those in New Community groups are invited to join us for Community Dinner. Dinner is served in the Cornerstone Commons before New Community, from 5:30 p.m. until 6:15 p.m. Cost is as follows:

Adults - $2
Children - $1
Max $10/family
