Crucial Need

In May we heard Dawn Brotherton talk about the local impact "here and now" that the ministry of Little Blessings is making, in addition to the funds it pours into the global missions of the volunteering churches.

If something in your heart stirred, we want you to have some more facts and the means to connect quickly to Dawn. Little Blessings needs volunteers immediately to keep its doors open. Stay-at-home moms can take clothing home to do with their own laundry. Volunteer cashiers are needed especially on Saturdays and Sundays, but anytime during their open hours (click link above). People can also assist with advertising, though more direct help with the store is needed right now.

5 Loaves is looking for volunteers to help the 1st and 3rd Mondays of each month to both serve and prepare meals. Also, for those to whom it's applicable, it would count as volunteer hours to use for the SHARE program.

FOOD BANK MEAL

Five Loaves Food Bank serves dinner weekly for those coming to receive groceries. The meal is free to those who come and an average of 100 are served weekly, in addition to the LivingStone community.
